How do I sync my Canvas assignments?

1. Make sure you're logged into Canvas in your browser

2. Navigate to your Canvas dashboard or any Canvas page

3. Click the Canvas Tracker extension icon

4. Click "Sync from Canvas"

Your assignments will be pulled automatically from all your active courses.

Why aren't my assignments showing up?

Make sure you're on your Canvas page when syncing. The extension needs to access Canvas's API through your logged-in session. Try refreshing Canvas and syncing again.

How often do I get reminders?

You'll receive email reminders at 72 hours, 48 hours, 24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours, and 1 hour before each assignment is due. Each reminder is sent only once per assignment.

Can I customize reminder times?

All users receive reminders at 72h, 48h, 24h, 12h, 6h, and 1h before deadlines. Pro users get priority delivery and additional customization options.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We use industry-standard encryption and never store your Canvas login credentials. Your assignment data is encrypted at rest and in transit. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

You can cancel anytime from the Settings page in the web dashboard. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your billing period.

Troubleshooting

"Not on Canvas" error

Make sure you're on your school's Canvas page (usually something like yourschool.instructure.com) before clicking Sync.

Extension not loading

Try disabling and re-enabling the extension in chrome://extensions, or reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store.

Not receiving emails

Check your spam folder. Add [email protected] to your contacts to ensure delivery.

Login issues

If you forgot your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Check your email (including spam) for the reset link.
