Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Canvas Tracker Chrome extension or web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Description of Service

Canvas Tracker is a Chrome browser extension and web application that helps you:

Sync assignments from your Canvas LMS account
View assignments in a calendar interface
Receive email reminders before due dates
Track assignment completion status

Account Requirements

You must create an account to use reminder features
You must provide a valid email address
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use this service

Free vs. Pro Plans

Free Plan:

Sync all your courses
One email reminder (24 hours before)
Calendar view

Pro Plan ($3/month):

6 reminder times (72h, 48h, 24h, 12h, 6h, 1h)
Add personal notes to assignments
Export calendar to Google/Apple Calendar
Priority support

Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime
Refunds available within 7 days if service doesn't work as expected

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use Canvas Tracker for lawful purposes only
Not attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the extension
Not share your account credentials
Not use automated tools to abuse the service
Not use the service to violate your school's policies

Canvas Access

⚠️ Canvas Tracker accesses your Canvas data through your existing browser session. We do not store your Canvas login credentials.

By using Canvas Tracker, you acknowledge that:

You have the right to access your Canvas account
Using third-party tools may be subject to your institution's acceptable use policies
We are not affiliated with Instructure (Canvas) or your educational institution

Limitation of Liability

Canvas Tracker is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

Missed assignments or deadlines
Incorrect assignment data from Canvas
Failed notification delivery
Service interruptions or technical issues
Any academic consequences

⚠️ Canvas Tracker is a reminder tool, not a guarantee. Always verify deadlines directly in Canvas.

Termination

You may stop using Canvas Tracker at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for violation of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we'll notify users via email.
